ABOUT ME
A glance, a gesture, a quiet emotion – that is where everything begins in my work.
I am fascinated by people: their posture, their facial expressions, the subtle movements that reveal so much.
Every line I draw, every shadow I add, is an attempt to capture their story. It is a search for balance: between what is visible and what remains hidden, between strength and vulnerability, between movement and stillness, between nuance and directness.
I have devoted myself entirely to drawing. After ten years of lessons and workshops with various artists, I deepened my artistic development through a five-year studio program at an art academy in Belgium, where I gained a solid foundation in tradition, technique, and craftsmanship.
My working method reflects the layers of the human experience. Through drawing techniques and a variety of materials, I try to capture nuance, emotion, and depth layer by layer, in both my monochrome and color work, with graphite always forming the foundation of everything I create.
So far, my work has focused primarily on women. As a woman, I feel a connection to the female expression, but my work explores feelings and moments that are recognizable to everyone, regardless of who we are.
I exhibit regularly, both solo and in groups, and my work is also featured in publications. At the same time, I continually explore new directions, with each project challenging my creativity and technique.
In a world where feeling often takes a back seat, I hope my work invites viewers to look and feel again, creating a connection with themselves and others. In visual language, silence often speaks louder than words. Though seemingly soft, my still images carry an inner strength.
